The chapter started with Yamato running, complaining on the broken down train. He was worried that Mr. Asahina had gone to work as it was already 11am. He then worried that Mr. Asahina wont forgive him for the rest of his life. Mr. Asahina was reading a newspaper. Mrs. Asahina asked why he's taling his time slowly as he had a meeting in the morning. He answered that he had contacted the office that he would arrive at noon. Mr.s Asahina remarked that even so it was 11am. He replied that even he's not there there wont be any problem. Suzuka whispered to her mum asking what happen to her dad since he's always early. Yamato's "I'll come again tomorrow" was dwelling inside Mr. Asahina's head. The bellr ang and Mrs. Asahina remarked that it could be Yamato. Mr. Asahina said that he would open the door. He opened the door and found Yamato perspiring profusely.
Yamato greeted him and apologized immediately. He explained that he wanted to come earlier but electric train broke down. Mr. Asahina looked at him and asked if that's the excuse that he was late. Yamato was puzzled. Mr. Asahina commented that the excuse might work for high school or university but it's useless when one enters the society. Yamato apologized and said that he would take note of it. Mr Asahina then said that he had leave for work. Yamato said that he would come earlier tomorrow. Mr. Asahina asked him not to come. Yamato tried to plead. Mr. Asahina told Yamato that he did not need to apologize anymore. Yamato was stunned but asked if he was forgiven. Mr. Asahina replied yes. Happily, Yamato thanked Mr. Asahina. However, Mr Asahina told Yamato that they were still teenagers and they should put their studies as priority as they're entering university. He wanted them to go out like classmates. Yamato replied that he understood. Mr. Asahina then left for work. Yamato wondered why Mr. Asahina forgave him. Suzuka approached Yamato and Yamato happily told her that he was forgiven. Suzuka said that he heard it too. Suzuka thanked Yamato for making the visit. Suzune came out and commented that she was surprised that Yamato was forgiven so soon. She then remarked that it was good since Suzuka wouldn't need to run away from home. Yamato was puzzled and asked about it. Suzune explained that Suzuka threw a tantrum when her father moved her out, saying that she would run away from home. Suzuka pushed her sister inside calling her busybody. Suzuka then went inside to get something.
Later, they went to the cafe. Suzuka commented that she had to apologize to Yasonobu and Miki. Yamato told her that he had called them. He then remarked that he was relief. Suzuka agreed as her father had forgiven them. Yamato reliazed that they were overboard even though it was the last day of high school. They had cause troubles for many people. Yamato said that they should be more rational in future. Yamato then noticed that Suzuka's face burning read. He put his hand on Suzuka's forehead and remarked that she's still having a fever. He asked if she had gone to visit a doctor. She replied she didnt and she had cold tablets at home. Yamato remarked that it has been some time since the training camp. He wondered if there's a clinic nearby. Suzuka answered there's one near her house. Yamato suggested that he would accompany her to the doctor. Suzuka said it's no necessary as she dislike going to clinic. Suzuka tried to reject but Yamato insisted.
Yamato waited on a bench near the clinic. He grumbled that she was slow as it had been 2 hours Yamato reminisced on Mr. Asahina's remark that they were still teenagers and they should befriend like classmates. Yamato told himself not to panic as they can be together from now on. Suzuka approached Yamato and apologized that it took so long. Yamato asked if she can be cured immediately. Suzuka told Yamato that she was pregnant. Yamato was stunned. Suzuka added that it had been 3 months.
P/S: Yamato had an easy way with Suzuka's dad. But he'll have disaster once Mr.Asahina founf out Suzuka's pregnant. By the way, saw chapter 156 spoiler, nothing exciting except Yamato bumped into Arima.

Wow!!! wasnt really expecting it anymore to be truthful, i'm not update to on the whole pregnancy thing but is 3 months too long to get rid of it? also i wonder what they will do about it...i'm more interested in what Suzuka's reaction is this more then anyone else to be honest, has she even really said 'I Love You' to Yamato since she came back from US?...going to be interesting what happens..maybe she wont be the only one cheering for him when he faces off finally against Arima, his little girl/son may be there too lol

o_O What kind of nonsense is that? And I was hopping for another great Yamato/Susuka's father chapter. It just feels like Kouji going out of good twists, but it's not truth. Look at the previous chapter! I give up - I have no idea what he’s doing...
wow thanks for the pics. And I see this as a turning point for the manga. Instead of having a cliche of couples happily going out together, why not insert some dilemma to spice out the story?
Kouji needs to do his homework on pregnancy. Woman who are pregnant tends to throw up beginning of 1 or 2 month. And usually they feel tired and have headaches.

It's not strange for people to find out after 3 months. Haven't you heard news and cases that people only realized that they are pregnant more than 5 months.

Very interesting development... I don't know but does Japan have a high-rate of teen pregnancies? Maybe the mangaka is implying some sort of social response to an issue they currently face right now. But I was really expecting development on the Yamato/Suzuka's Father arc. So this was really a surprise.
i thought japanese 7-11 had birth control pills that people can buy off the counter...

does suzuka's dad even know about this? and here i thought the story would be moving to how akitsuki would convince suzuka to stay back at the his aunt's place..
Suzuka and Yamato will probably act all scared for a few chapters trying to figure out what to do or how to tell people. Probably even fight about it and stuff like they do about most things. Then after a few chapters she has a miscarriage or finds out that she wasn't pregnant.
If this doesn't happen then the next chapters coming will be interesting to see. I've never seen a manga have such a story line like that before (ie. teens fall in love have a baby and have to raise it..etc).
This is a big twist!! I think if the author wants to make this a bigger twist, he should do something like make the baby not Yamato's!!! Then this would be a big problem!!

WOW WHERE IS SEO GOING WITH THIS! As if they didn't have enough problems. I am so sad for the two of them. Say goodbye to the romantic couple we love to read about and say hello to the miserable parents who argue constantly. I hope that this all turs out to be a dream or something happens to the baby. Theory* Maybe Mr. Asahina is giving Yamato a test to see how he will react to what Suzuka tells him. Just a thought but not likely. All I know is that Yamato will be shocked and his friend will tell him his life is over but he will stay with Asahina no matter what! Man it's gonna be funny when he tells his friend, gonna be like, "WHAT!!!!!!!PREGNAN--T!!!!!!!!! then ofcourse everyone will look at them and the secret will be outta the bag. oops. Hmm really besides wondering if its true or not and whats going to happen, u really have to wonder how everyone is going to react to this. Boy if Asahina's father doesn't already know there is going to be hell to pay.
I would just like to point out chapter 75 page 17. Looks like Yamato has helped with that.
I looked at that chapter and page and her gut reaction for that talisman was calling him an idiot.
There has to be a catch to this. I don't think Ms. Responsible would allow Yamato to proceed without protection (although such things are not 100% foolproof). Both of their college careers depend upon their athletic performance and she would not allow that to be ruined.
There probably is a catch to it. Right now theres like several different ways he can go with the manga, which is great.
He could make them all scared for a few chapters thinking Suzuka's pregnant. This causing them to fight each other but then eventually come to grips with reality. At some point finding out she really isn't pregnant.
He could also turn this into a nightmare by either Yamato or Suzuka, making us the readers all freak out as well as the person Dreaming. Assuming it's Yamato having the dream, then you know he's gonna spend a chapter or two talking about the possibility of Suzuka having a kid with his best friend. After, finding out she's not having a kid and he just over reacted like he always does.
Or there's even the possibility that she is really having Yamato's baby. Adds more drama and chaos to the mix but also still leaves allot more that the creator can do since this would be a unique manga. You don't see to many with the main character getting pregnant on accident. If she is, then he may direct the manga on how teen girls react when they're unintentionally pregnant in Japan (ie. freak out, raise money, and get an abortion). Although I doubt he would turn to killing in this manga theres still the possibility.
Theres still more ways that he could go but I wont fill this thread up with them.
Why Suzuka wait 2 months to tell Yamato the news???, maybe she want the Baby. Is time for Yamato to take decisions and make sacrifices.
Unexpected teen pregnancies are common in Japan, and sadly, abortion is legal and a common way to "resolve" this problem among teen girls. That said, young adults (say 20+) resolve accidental pregnancies by marriage & keeping the baby. It's very common. So my guess for Yamato & Suzuka (them being young adults, or going to be), will get married & keep the child (if Seo follows the typical modern Japanese culture).

From looking back at past chapters I think this is the only the 27th of December. Chapter 153 covers the 24th and 25th of December and 154 (the next day) is the 26th. My thoughts are that Yamato goes back the next day, has his meeting with Mr. Asahina and then meets up with Suzuka who has found out (from a doctors visit or a wise mother) that she does not have the Flu, but instead is suffering from morning sickness. She (Suzuka) then tracks Yamato down and then tells him. But thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.
There are some cases in which a woman doesn't know they are pregnant until they give birth.
I feel that with Suzuka being pregnant this will enforce the feelings that each other share. I am looking forward to seeing how the author is going to play this out.
Let's say she really is pregnant. How well will Yamato support her?
Well we kind of knew that this was coming. Does anybody remember the charm that Yamato gave Suzuka at their first track meet after the two first start dating. But more than that she had to have known a while ago, could that be the reason she wanted to cook for him.
And as far as the future goes I think that her family will be very supportive of her pregnancy. And Yamato has not let go of her yet, but I think that their relationship will be put to the test, and not just by her pregnancy but also her family will test Yamato.

the time between when they slept together and when Yamato found out suzuka is pregnant in Chapter 155, there is a 3 month time gap yah?
Well, say it wasn't a dream. This would ruin Suzukas track career. I would think that it would either be a miscarriage or they would have and keep the baby. But I'm hoping its a dream.
