Although, as a fellow Aria fan and someone who's been following your blog since Suzuka, I'm a little disappointed you didn't place at least a little note for Amano's cat, the real Aria, who died in March. Kozue didn't mention it until volume 11's publishing.
As anyone who's read Aria knows, Amano really loved that cat. Even if others didn't mention it, maybe you should?
kazkabe: Happy New Year. I'm also disappointed for 2 things.
First:This is a happy new year post and you're talking about death. I'm not those people who believe in beliefs but that's not the thng I want to discuss in new year post. There's an ARIA post every now and then, and you even bother posting on it.
Second. Did Kozue reveal that in Mag Blade magazine??? Then how am I supposed to know? ARIA V11 CH has just been released a few day ago and it's not even available for order at my usual vendors. Plus I wont be getting it until I have a decent amount of comics to order. In addition, I dont write blog from volumes, I write sumamry from the navigation chapters.
So before you make accusation, ask first/inform. I would be pleased if someone has information and I check on it, rather than what you've done.
I was only giving you a suggestion and didn't know that I was sparking an argument, but if you insist...
I never said you should discuss it in your new year's post. I was talking about making a memo of it in any other Aria post. As I said, the cat died in his arms in MARCH and he only felt he was ready to tell his readers in October. So there was plenty of time before that to write it and there's plenty of time after the New year's post to write it, too.
I wrote a whole bunch of other argumentative stuff here, too, but I decided against it. In the end, I suppose I was just a little disappointed because you were partly the reason I started Aria in the first place. I'm sorry if I made you feel like I was accusing you of being a bad fan or whatever. It's just, no one else has even mentioned the cat's passing, despite the fact that if it weren't for that cat, Aria would not be quite as magical as it is.
If you're still skeptical, the proof is in the notes on the front flap of the cover and on the very back of the tankubon.
Kazkabe: It's not that I'm skeptical, it's just I dont have the information at the moment. So instead of saying
"I'm a little disappointed you didn't place at least a little note for Amano's cat, the real Aria, who died in March"
and
"Even if others didn't mention it, maybe you should?"
You should just INFORM me instead of what you hav written. From what you've written, you have assumed that I knew of the information and chose not to disclose it. While you might not feel that way or deny so, it was what & how you have expressed that makes thing unpleasant.
I would of course be happy if someone say, "I have a sad news, Kozue cat's gone. It's was revealed in V11. Would you share the news to fellow Aria fans?" Then, I would be able to check the info. and of course be willing to write a post on it.
