PG is a TV classification for Parental Guidance, but you should have guessed.

PG = Perfect Grade.

Yes, my first and probably the only Perfect Grade model, the new Perfect Grade 1/60 Strike Freedom Gundam.

Wont be starting on the assembly until next year. The primary downside is the dull yellow parts....there are gold brass and gold parts, but Bandai decided to leave some of the internal parts in yellow. But some of these parts are exposed and noticeable after aseembly. So I got myself Tamiya gold spray to resolve this.

This figure was ordered from ebay as I didnt manage to pre-order from Hobby Search nor HLJ.

The figure was available for pre-order yesterday but by 10pm last night, HLJ has it 'order stop' and Hobby Search has it 'Reservation Closed'. I was like WT!

However, after being Hobby Search customer for quite sometime and observed in my last order on Tsumugi, I have a feeling that it's not lost yet.

You see, the reservation closed since yesterday but sometimes the reservation has been delayed. That's what happened with Tsumugi.

However, I think it was also because GSC release 2 lots of the Azuyan nendoroids, one lot yesterday and another today.

I checked the site every couple of hours and by 4.50pm, I saw it was available for pre-order. Excellent! By the time I reached home at 6.30pm, the figure status was 'reservation closed' again.

Anyway, cant wait to get all 5 of the nendoroid and display them like below!

Another Saber Lily Version

GSC already released probably one of the best Saber figure thus far ! Saber Lily Distant Avalon.

Recently, GSC announced new variation to Saber Lily know as Saber Lily Golden Caliburn.Scheduled for February 2010 release, available as Wonder Festival 2010 Limited Edition Product

From the facial expression, one can observe the GC version has more subtle smile and gentle feminine eyes. Also note there is a black 'tie' to the neck which is not on the DA version.

Apart from the expression, main difference to the DA version is the removal of her armour, alternatives to her feet and shoes, and of course probably one of the main highlight Golden Caliburn scabbard!

So instead of metallic armour, you get more alternatives such as white gloves, white pantyhose,med/high heels, crystal-like skirting (white in DA version).

Further the base is rose coloured and c/w logo.

The GC version is a limited product exclusive to Wonder Festival 2010 in February. JP can order from GSC website in February but it'll only to delivered in mid June. Maybe, hopefully, they'll make it available for mass in near future.

Meanwhile one consider another new release on Saber known as Triumphant Excalibur release.

Gundam Unicorn RX-0 Ver. Ka Titanium Finish

Completed the MG Unicorn Ver. Ka Titanium Finish. Cant wait for the OVA to be released this year!

Notes:
* Lack of articulation for the ankle.
* The waterslide gold foil decals are hard to apply onto its antenna.
* Titanium finish looks excellent until you realize there's no suitable paint to fix the nips.
* Prefer the dry marking stickers to be all decals. Gundam Unicorn is plain in colour so it really need the decals to complement itself.
* Separate limited edition gatling guns available only with Gundam UC Novel book4 special edition

Suggestion:

* I should have spray painted the internal light grey parts to silver leaf. I did it to portion of the beam rifle and it looked pretty good. So I suggest spray paint the internal parts to silver leaf.
* As for the gold horn, paint or spray paint with gold leaf Tamiya acrylic paint. Mix with thinner for lighter gold leaf.
* If you dont want to end up with dark nips, go for the flat white version.
* Special waterslide decals are available for purchase.

Impression 1:
The Gundam Unicorn figure looks large compared to the rest of the figure. Look at below picture. for comparison of the destroy mode against other MG gundam model. The unicorn mode is probably almost the same as MG Infinite Justice. The

Impression 2:
Regarding the titanium finish, let's have a look at its composition. The internal is actually translucent, coated with chrome finish, followed by thin layer of white and then coated with gloss.

The problem I had is to fix the nips after removing them from the runner. As one can see, even if you trim to the translucent layer, it'll still look a bit dark due to internal reflection of the chrome. See second area from left.

Nevertheless, the figure really looks fabulous under lighting.

Nendoroid Yui Hirasawa

Yui Hirasawa, the lead guitarist from the K-ON! anime. Received my second K-on! Nendoroid figure yesterday.

There are three (3) facial expressions in total, the original cheerful, sobbing and 'cool' one. There are additional 3 arms, 2 hands and 2 legs components available for pose changing. The set also features her electric guitar, guitar strap and amplifier.

This figure was ordered from ebay as I didnt manage to pre-order from Hobby Search nor HLJ. I had the opportunity to order it a couple of day before its release at Hobby Search but I had paid for at ebay, and didnt want to risk it.

RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver. Ka Titanium Finish

Latest addition to my Gundam model, RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver. Ka Titanium Finish.

Didnt really think that I would acquire the titanium finish but the offer at HWJapan was too good to miss out.

Though, I understand there should be an OVA version MG Gundam Unicorn scheduled for release soon. But this the ver. ka and titanium finish one is satisfactory for me.

This will probably be one of last MG to collect except if Bandai release a MG Akatsuki. As for Gundam 00, if they release a MG for it, may consider in long run.

GN-001 Gundam Exia Iginition Mode

Had no intention of gettting MG Exia as Gundam 00 anime didn't really impress me much. However, my brother would like to get one and asked me to order for him due to the reason I absolutely hate. For some reason, I accidentally clicked twice and ordered 2 of them. To make things worse, the restock just arrived and HLJ processed the order so quick that I didnt even have enough time to amend the order. So, here it is anyway.

The GN drive is quite impressive with the LED module. I got myself Energizer 392 battery which is compatible with the LR41 battery type.

MG Gundam Sword Impulse

Finally finished all three (3) unfinished gundam from last year and this year.

My brother acquired his ZGMF-X56S/a Force Impulse Gundam at a discount and he asked if I wanted the same. I responded no as I was not interested. I have actually been waiting, waiting for sword impulse. So when it was released, I told him "This is better!!!"

MG Gundam Infinite Justice ZGMF-X19A

Finally finished the MG Infinite Justice acquired back in October 2008. I had the internal spray painted to silver leaf while my brother spray painted it to aluminium. The only difference is my parts appear 'whiter' than his, which is what I want.

MG Infinite Justice is one of my most anticipated gundam model since Strike Freedom. However, the reason I dragged the assembling of this model is due to stuff-up on the subflight lifter. Recently I borrowed a tamiya thinner from my friend and clean the parts that were poorly painted and then repaint.

ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam

Finally finished my MG Destiny Extreme Blast. The model was a present from my brother back in January 2009.

Gundam Destiny with its anti-ship sword.

Notes:
For Extreme Blast version, the internal parts are chrome. Similar concept to Strike Freedom Full Burst version of gold internals.

The Wings of light, probably the main and sole reason of getting the Exterme Blast edition. However, the its attachment method really need redesign due to poor connection.

The package also c/w the 1/20 bonus figures of Shin Asuka and Kira Yamato, made of soft plastic. Nice to look but still, no colour.

There are extra weapons for the Extreme Blast version such as the palm energy blast and boomerang effects.

Epic Battle Scene:

Probably on of the most epic battle scene in GSD, along with the scene between Strike Impulse and Freedom. , is the battle between Gundam Destiny and Gundam Strike Freedom.

Nendoroid Mio Akiyama

Received my first Nendoroid figure last month. Love to get all four and then display as a band!!!

There are 3 facial expressions including the crying expression. Four additional hand/arm components are available for pose changing. The set also features her bass guitar, guitar strap and amplifier.

I only managed to pre-order Mio and Tsumugi from Hobby Search. Had to pre-order from someone through ebay for Ritsu and Yui... hope still can get it.

The Saber Lily which I ordered back in has arrived. Was surprised that the shipping is cheaper than i thought, not to mention the big box. But the figure is expensive, 8866 Yen for early bird. The figure come with Caliburn and Excalibur as well as Avalon.

Collected my ARIA The illustration Avvenire this morning from the post office. It arrived 2 days ago but I wasnt at home and I cant pick up until weekend.

I MUST SAY THIS IS AN AWESOME ILLUSTRATION BOOK!

This artbook comprises all the artwork for DVD, CD, PS and Promotional illustration for ARIA The Animation, ARIA The Natural, ARIA The Arietta and ARIA The Origination. In additionn, there are some illustration that I haven't seen before.

We are looking at 109 pages of illustration and 2 index listing the publication record of the illustrations.

The Final Fnatasy Mini collection No. 3 arrived with my ARIA Best selection Piano book on the 6th January 2009. That's the day someone bumped into the car at my rear and that car bumped into me, so unlucky. The 3rd collection features Tidus, Rikku, Aerith, Balthier and Fran.

The heroes of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, X & VII with their weapon of choice, except for Vaan the slacker.

The heroines of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, X & VII.

Current collection from all 3 mini collections. The fourth box has not been revealed yet. We still got the following characters, though I think they'll concentrate on human characters.

Remaining characters:
* Sephiroth, Vincent, Barett, Red XIII, Cait Sith, Cid, Yuffie (FF7)
* Quitis, Selphie, Zell, Irvine, Laguna, Kiros, Ward, Seifer (FF8)
* Surprisingly no characters from FFIX

My prediction of the next 5 designs for Collection 4 is from Sephiroth or Vincent, Yuffie, Selphie, Wakka and Paine.

I rate the anime with my personal expectation and enjoyment, rather than the quality or the anime as a whole, which is often disputable and differ with people's interest.

ARIA The Origination
The finale of the ARIA series. Très bien! All the episodes where the 3 young undine become Prima are beautifully choreographed. Music, background and setting all excellent. I actually wish they covered more episodes since there are a few chapters in the manga that are not animated. Nevertheless, it is great to see new episodes that are not from the manga and also beautifully done. The ending, similar to the manga, was sweet and fulfilling. Applaud to Kozue Amano for this wonderful series and Junichi Sato & crew for excellent animation of the series from Animation, Natural, Arietta to Origination.

Clannad
I'll make it simple. I like Clannad >>> Air and Kanon. Fuko's arc was my least favourite but the ending to the arc was good. I like the Makoto arc and also the way the first season end was excellent. Tomoyo chapter was unnecessary in my opinion but guess it's an ending that some people like.

Clannad After Story
Havent really get into this yet but the development is quite good from the preview and sumamry that I read.

Code Geass R2
One of my most anticipated series after season I, not because I like Code Geass but because it left as a major cliff-hanger! A bit disappointing at first but the cliff-hangers were answered gradually. While there are several storylines that I liked, I do find several arc rather weak. probably the worst arc was the part on Charles, Marianne, CC and Lelouch. However, the ending was strong with Lelouch sacrificing his life & name and Suzuka sacrificing his identity. As for the final ending, everyone come together (Black Knights, Britannia, Chinese Federation) for Ougi and Villeta wedding is a bit over. Anya and Jeremiah development is too short to be real. As for the real final ending, I believe Lelouch is dead rather than the ambiguity that people speculated. Poor CC is lonely, except she has her cheese-kun accompanying. Throughout the series, Kallen probably ended up as my favourite apart from Milly. Overall, the whole series is enjoyable and interesting to watch.

Detective Conan Movie 12 Full Score of Fear
I have anticipated Movie 12 as I am interested of how they would pull through the series with a music theme case. I do find it quite balance in terms of the story plot and the mystery. The scene on Akiba's persistence with her Amazing Grace to prevent the explosion is wonderfully potrayed. No doubt, one of the best among the 12 movies, corroborated by its earning figures. Cant wait for Movie 13: The Raven Chaser with Black Organization as the theme.

Dragonaut The Resonance
Cant remember what made me pick up the series but wish I didnt. Some of the dragons look terrible. But aAt least they are CG and no deformation in character illustration. Story plot towards ending is a bit hard to swallow especially the part where Kazuki repented.

Gundam 00 Season 2
Ah, Gundam 00, who can resist a Gundam series, even if you dont like the first series. Afterall, who wouldn't watch it just to have a glimpse at the over-powered Gundam 00 to compensate for Exia. At least they didnt make Gundam 00 God-like throughout the episodes. But now we got the 0-raizer + twin drive giving 290% output is a bit ridiculous. Anyway, there's a lot of twist and plots to anticipated so stay tune to the series. My least favourite character is still Saji. As for the mecha, what the heck is the Gundam face behind Tiera's Seravee. Anyway, with a spy in Ptolemis and stronger mecha from A-laws, thing should be interesting.

Ikkitousen Great Guardian
I still dont really fancy the storyline but the third instalment probably has the least reference to the Three Kingdom. If it wasn't for Shoukyou, I dont really want to watch the series. I still dont understand what this Saji Genpou shit is about.

Macross Frontier
Macross Frontier is above my expectation but the ending ruined it. The ending of Grace being the final antagonist and her mass destructive weapon is ridiculous. Nevertheless, love the macross mecha and the vocal soundtracks are probably among the best I heard so far.

Mai Otome 0 S.ifr
I love Mai Otome 0 S.ifr! It's even better than the Mai Hime, Mai Otome, Mai Otome Zwei. Wish it's more than 3 episodes! There's a lot more that they can tell on Rena Slayer but it wasn't covered. However, the fighting scene between Rena and the Garderobe Meisters are awesome! The scenes on Elliot having attraction towards Rena is amusing. How I wish there are more Mai Otome 0 S.ifr episodes.

Soul Eater
I was surprised to find that the anime is sponsored by Square Enix. I like the way the setting and characters are potrayed in an unique illustration manner. But then, I lost interest since the ressurection of Asura. Probably the most exciting bit for me was the part where Shinigami got serious, no more funny guy. The worst part is also the crona and stupid excalibur (It is not funny! It's boring).

Tales of Abyss
I really tried to watch it but it just doesnt appeal my interest enough to conitnue watching after episode 2. Need to find some time to continue watching it

Toaru Majutsu no Index
I only watched till episode 9 or 10 (heading to Makoto arc) and started to lose a bit interest in it. I wish they have more funny scenes of Index and Toma, especially eating scene.

Zero no Tsukaima Princess no Rondo
Zero no Tsukaima is always amusing to watch. At least one thing that the third instalment is better than the last tone is less bombing on Saito. Season 2 was ridiculous with same ending almost every episode. It's great that the third instalment focus more on Tiffania and Tabitha. I do find it interesting that Colbert isnt dead and now Kirche is in love with him, guess Fire attracts Fire. The part where the gang rebel against the order of Henrietta is great, except the circus attire they wore to Gallia sucks.

Other popular anime that I'm following; One Piece and Prince of Tennis National Champtionship OVA.

Gee... How could I... forgetting AMH 3rd anniversary..... November 28th...2 weeks ago.

Three (3) is rather good number for anime, apart from 4, as most anime tends to have 3 main heroines. Of course, my favourite anime with 3 main heroines are Ah! My Goddess and ARIA series.

ARIA, what an awesome finale to the series. Wish it lasted longer but it was sweet. Three young Prima undines succedding the Three fairies. Applaud to Kozue Amano for this wonderful series.

Ah! My Goddess... I wonder if I'll be seeing your 30th anniversary. As I mentioned before, the story is getting nowhere and latest story arc is about Hild being overthrown by Hagall.

Oh ya, just another picture of the 3 heroines that rock Japan animation in 2006.

As Christmas is coming and my compulsory leave starting soon, I shall spend sometime on the blog wrapping some end of year post just like the last 2 years.

Griffon Belldandy Figure

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Ah! My Goddess, Griffon has scheduled a Belldandy figure in March 2009 (which will then be 21st anniversary. The figure looks quite nice but I dont fancy the dress as it resembles something.Nevertheless, it's a worthwhile figure if you have about $US123 or 11800 Yen to spare excluding shipping charges.

Anyway, with the current exchange rates and the ownership of 2 Belldandy figures, I'll skip this one.

Couple of updates

1. Bookcafe no longer offer online purchasing, so I have to revert back to the expensive Yesasia. Kinda wish that I bought Prince of Tennis 1-8 in the last order so that I wont have to settle for Yesasia now. The saddest is that I cant find ARIA CH V12 unless I get the TW version.

2. My brother got MG Impulse cheap from HLJ, sale + before the economy hurricane. We had to pay 0.016 instead of 0.011 conversion for MG Justice last month. By the way, my brother finished both his MG while my MG Destiny and MG Justice still......
But I have spray painted the skeleton to silver leaf which looks whiter than the gloss aluminium that my brother had on his Justice.

Madman Australia had a massive discount last week and yea... spend couple of hundreds to get 3 boxsets.

Ordered 16 volumes of Prince of Tennis, HL2, Cross Game 11-12 and Tsubasa 24.

I couldnt get Aria 12, HL 1 and Prince of Tennis 41 as they are out of stock. Darn...

Still got 4 more books, Tsubasa 22 & 23, Pastel 19 and Aria 12. I try my luck with Yesasia on Aria 12. Not looking good as the other 3 are in stock now and Aria 12 still searching for suppliers.

I could have order them a lot earlier but Bookcafe upgraded to Verified by Visa card only, my cards cant complete the purchase process. Absolutely no problem with other site like HLJ, Amazon, Yesasia and Play-asia. Stupid. So I got myself a new card but by that time Aria 12 is out of stock.

Received my ARIA Origination PSII Cielo gamebook. Basically the game offers role-playing as Agnes with a choice to join either of the 3 undine company. As you can see from the photos that I have taken, it's a good quality as the previous PS2 installment.

Saber Gift Figure

If I can I really want the pearl white version Saber that comes with the Fate Unlimited Code. But I dont wanna buy the game just for the figure.

Back to the topic, there's a new figure revealed today, the Gift Saber 1/8 figure scheduled for December release. I'm skeptical of Gift figure as I haven't come across much figure release by Gift. Nevertheless, it's good find this on GSC website. Hopefully, the quality's good given the affiliation? Anyway, the figure has exactly what I want, silver armour, full dress with crystal-like skirting and the sword. The risk that I'm taking;
1. The figure facial expression might turn out tasteless
2. The metalic armour may turn out rough and ugly
3. Figure turn out 80% uglier than the promo figure.

I prefer the facial expression on the right.

Nevertheless desptite all the risk I'm taking i have pre-ordered the Gift figure, cause it has the style and accessories that I want. If the quality comes out good, then I'll be overjoyed in December, else ......

I didnt check my blog stats but probably all my visitor think this blog is dead or probably dead.

Havent got the time and energy to update since I start working. At the moment, I got about 6-7 projects on hand and practically exhausted most of the evening when I reached home.

Anyway, I finally start assembling the MG Gundam Destiny which my bro gave me as a birthday gift back in Feb. Finished the body and the right arm.

Currently watching only a few anime like; Code Geas R2, Soul Eater and Macross. Just pick up Dragon Destiny Guardian (Gee, they didnt even bother to sensor this time). By the way, over the last few months, I watched through One Piece, 359 chapters of them!

As for manga, still the same; Cross Game and Tsubasa Chronicles. Glad that Hatsukoi Limited has finished, not really a fan apart from the female character designs. As usual, Conan and AMG are long-winded series that belong to never-ending story catergory. Air Gear, I only browse through when very bored.

As for purchases, only ARIA Origination guidebook and a SD Gundam on order. Nothing more. The new Kureha figure looks nice, but I have one already.

Ok, to the purpose of this post. Remember when 4 Mega Pixels was such a high-edge technology back in around 4 years ago? back then, 3.2M was the norm and I bought the Ixus 430 of 4Mpixels. It has served me very well, especially when I take photos of kids and need to be fast. Well, it has been years and I have decided to get a new one, an IXUS 85 IS, the slimest canon so far. It's a 10 Megapixel digital camera with latest tech such as image stabilizer, motion detection
and image noise reduction. I have also asked my bro to get an 8Gb SDHC memory card. Maybe I'll retake my figure or Gundam shot in near future to see the difference. ^^

Long Intro Short Series

For those who read Hatsukoi Limited by Mizuki Kawashita, yes, chapter 32 is the finale!

It takes about 10 chapters to get things started and then you mess the series with a bomberman during the Valentine's Day. Then the guys went on a trip and confess and then next chapter is Ending?

So 32 chapter and 3 volume.... that's all after the comeback from Ichigo 100%????

So all those love chains and dozens of characters ... and last only 32 chapters????
(Why bother introducing new character every 2-3 weeks???)

Thankfully I wasn't anticipating or expecting anything great from this series.... else I'll end up with frustration.

Reminiscent Songs (Non Anime)

Not anime-related, only that I recently purchased 2 compilations from Yesasia. One's a compilation/collection of chinese love songs I used to listen when I was a decade younger.

Released last year, Forever Love~finest collection of timeless love songs collection features 2 CDs with 32 tracks in total.

Also released last year was a compilation of Jacky Wu's song, The essential. He has recorded several unforgetable song and yes, the songs fit my era, which is a decade ago.

So, gonna listen to them in car tomorrow on the way to work. Can't wait for it!!!!!!

Rush Hours

Yes, it has been rush hours everyday since I first start working but this is not a post to grumble on my working life.

I recently got hold of Rush Hour Boxset, which I have been anticipating since Rush Hour 2. I waited until the third installment before purchasing the DVDs. I have been a fan of Jackie Chan since small because of his fighting choreography, flexibility and imaginative skills and of course his Asian humour.

I was disappointed with Rush Hour 3 because there's no extra in that DVD. Did I bought it too early or what??? Both Rush Hour 1 & 2 have extras such as deleted scenes and other bonuses.

Anyway, I'd love to see more sequel to the series as it has always been enjoyable to watch. But the gick sorta repeating nowadays and always one's getting older and the other's getting fatter.

Final Fantasy Trading Arts Mini 2

Hurray, got my FFmini2 and Gundam fine markers today.

The collection comprises 9 mini figures of 5 characters; Squall, Auron, Tifa, Ashe and Basch. I got doubles except for Basch which is good and I gave them to my brother, lucky him. I would have to say Auron is my favourite in this collection given the sunglasses and his attire up to his neck.

Squall Leonhart, not bad but I would expect better gunblade quality and also more metalic to his accessories. .

Auron, my favourite in this series. The hand is detachable. It dropped and I thought it was broken but It wasn't. Phew! The brilliant red colour sure make it more outstanding.

How I wish the FFVII characters are in their FFVII Advent Children fashion. Tifa looks so much better in her AC attire. .

Ashe looks very nice in certain angle but in another angle her lip's a bit weird in a way.

Basch, my least favourite character in FFXII and also in this collection. Face just doesnt seem quite right????

Pleased with this series and looking forward to more FF Trading Arts Mini in near future.

Megahouse Punit Collection Alicia & Aika

This morning, collected my Megahouse Punit Aria Collection series 2 featuring Alicia and Aika. My impression was Aika was darn ugly!!!. As mentioned, the figures look like a barbie doll. Again, I was disappointed with were the uniform and the cap.

Shining Wind Kureha

At last, something interesting from this lazy blogger.... :p

I'm glad that Kotobukiya release this figure as I'm not keen on getting 1/7 Max Factory Kureha. I like the figure very luch, not only is the colour appealing, the fashion and style are excellent in my opinion. I was surprised that the figure can be detached... you see what I mean later.

It's still in stock at HLJ. I do recommend this for Shinning Wind fans.

Now........... the detachment....

Disappointed? No panty shot? Ha ha.. I guess the detachment is such that otakus can have their fanservices as the skirt can be removed!

P/S: Didnt expect that the Kureha figure arrived earlier than the Gundam Marker. In fact I was wrong, Kureha should arrive earlier as it should be. I mistaken Kureha figure order as the FF Mini collection 2 order, that's why!!!

Pizza Hut Delivery completed

Finally after 3 years of research and 6 months of thesis writing, it all ends well. Received the news that I passed my higher degree yesterday. Was shocked to see the report that "...no requirement for correction or ammendments and awarded with...."

I thought my best would be ".. with minor correction" or more likely "...with substantial correction". Never did I imagine this.

So set for graduation in Spring aound September. Weeeeeeeeeeeee..........

P/S: Anyway, Gundam fine tip marker have arrived but yet collected. I can finally start assembling my MG Destiny Extreme Burst. Kotobukiya Shining Wind Kureha is on the way to my doorstep.

MangaTsubasa 185: Repeat of the whole event in Chapter 184. And now 186 in coming week. I felt cheated!!!
Hatsukoi Limited 24: Kei fighting over Kappa face Kusuda with the drama club president. It was a nice chapter to see Kei's emotion but the fanservice by the girl with heavy masscara put me off. By the way, Zaitsu and Sogabe were still depressed over the bomb and Nao incident.
Hatsukoi Limited 23:End for Nao and her sempai arc.
Cross Game 117: Ko went to visit Wakaba at the hospital. Wakaba was sleeping when he visited her. Later, when she woke up, Ko was dozing off.

Received my Bookcafe manga order. Prince of Tennis 28 was replaced with Prince of Tennis 24. The order with Yesasia for ARIA The Origination OST is on the way. 第11話「その変わりゆく日々に…」

Back at Himeya quarter, Akira was having a brainstorm over Aika's future appellation as a Prima undine. Akira remarked that Aika wont be sastified with just being a Prima. All over at Himeya, everyone's talking about Alice's special promotion 2 weeks ago. Some of the girls were talking about Aika, wondering if Aika was pretending to be happy. Akira got frustrated, squashed the paper and walked away. Later, Akira was in the gondola with Aika giving tour to her guest. Aika saw Akari but didnt stop to call out because of professionalism. Akira noted that and also saw Alice from afar. She looked at Aika who was energetic.

After the tour, Aika thanked the guests and the guests encouraged her to be a Prima soon. Aika was shocked to find Akira with a troubled expression. Aika asked but Akira couldnt really replied. This made Aika worried. Akira then called out Aika and murmured. Akira remarked that she recently found a shop called Jelade and asked Aika to accompanied her then.

Aika ordered a lemon flavoured gelato. Aika asked what Aika want but Akira didnt want any. Aika was surprised since it was Akira who asked her to tag along. The trouble Akira asked if Aika was full of energy and Aika happily replied her. Aika then told Akira about Alice recent promotion. She added that Akari and her were fortunate to have witnessed the moment. Akira was surprised that Aika was there back then. Aika then vowed not to lose to Alice and exclaimed her ambition energetically. Akira went forward and placed her hand onto Aika's shoulders. She told Aika that it's enough. Aika turned around and said it's not enough since she was burning with aspiration. She remarked that she wanted to thank Alice for giving her such aspiration. She then asked Akira to train her with strictness and she could take it. The childhood reflection of Aika appeared on Akira's mind. Akira then asked if Aika has any appointment for her holiday in the coming month. Aika was beaming with happiness and replied that she would go shopping with Al. Akira then told her to cancel the appointment and accompany her instead. Akira passed the paper she squashed to Aika. Aika had a read and found different appellations. She then realized Akira's concern. Akira offered her hand and called Aika as the future queen. Aika ran towards Akira and took her hands, beaming with smiles. Akira and Aika walked home with Akira deciding on Aika's appellation as Rozen Queen.

At Orange planet quarter, the maiden called out Orange Princess but no one replied. She found Alice and called her Alice Caroll which took her attention. Alice was asked to be familiar with her appellation. Alice apologized. Everyday Alice has busy schedule. During her tour, she saw Akari and Aika practising hard. She then counted how many days have passed since she last see them during the moon gazing. After finishing her work, she went home and was about to call her. But the she stopped as she worried that it was late and she had no reason to call them. She then hunged up. Alice last guest were a family with a kid. She brought them to the windmill hill, eating the potato snacks and took pictures. The day finished and the guest left. But the boy ran back, gave Alice a sweet and hugged her. Alice blushed and then went back. Alice wanted to tell Aika and Akari about the happy things she encountered each day. She went back to her room and upon opening the door, she found Athena, Akari, Aika munching on the bananas. She was shocked and asked why were they there as it was late. Akari and Aika showed Alice the new pizza by their frequent patroned pizzarie. They started feasting on the pizza joyfully. Alice was deep in her thought. Akari and Aika looked at Alice and Aika exposed what she was thinking. Alice commented that she was very busy and she couldnt think of such thing as pizza to see each other. Tears accumulated in her eyes. Akari then said there was, and it's Alice. Akari remarked that there's no need for any other reason, Alice was all that matter. Alice was relieved and cheered up. They later went to balcaony. Aika placed her hand on Alice saying that she wont lose to Alice. Akari also placed on top of their hands and agreed with Aika. Three of them the laughed together.

P/S: Next week should be Akari's promotion since preview shows Alice sitting on gondola while Akari rows. And then the finale the following week, all fit well.

Episode 10: 第１０話「そのお月見の夜のときめきは…」

Autumn has started. Aika and Akari went to check out Alice's new day as a Prima undine. The guests in her gondola all looked at Alice and she got embarassed. She later brought a photographer around Neo-Venezia. He wanted to take photo on some kittens and Alice manoevuerved backwards so that he could take the shot.

Later, Alice brought 2 girls around and she got nervous while the two young undines watched from behind. As Aika and Akari were about to leave, Aika stepped on Aria sachou's tail and it screamed. They were found out by Alice. Akari slipped and said that they were watching her work. Akari and Aika complimented her but Alice said apart from those the rest were bad. Alice then asked for their opinions. Aika replied that Alice looked like a robot but Alice rebuked that it looked more like a zombie. Alice was bit depressed. Akari then suggested moon gazing that night since it's autumn and the moon would be beautiful.

At night, Alice commented it her first time at moon gazing. Aika asked Akari about the dango that she prepared. Akari replied that it looked like the moon's shape. Aika took a bit but Alice took 2 in one go. Akari and Aika then competed each other in eating the dangos. Aria sachou gave some more dangos to Himeya sachou but she ignored it. Aria sachou then trimmed its figure to a more muscular form. Himeya sachou, after some hesitation, ate the dango on Aria sachou's hand. Akari held the dango against the moon and later against Aria sachou's chubby stomach. But then Maa sachou went a bit the soft chubby stomach. They were enjoying the rice tea recommended by Mr. Postman. Aika commented that Al was late. Alice then schemingly asked why Al would come and wasnt it supposed to be just three of them. Aika was embarassed and replied that Al would teach them many things if it was about stars. Alice then teased Aika. Aika then left to picked up Al. Leaving them behind, Alice thanked Akari for entertaining her, saying that the moon gazing calmed her down. Alice then found Maa sachou disappeared.

Aika found Al on the way. Al remarked that he had overtime. On the way, Al commented they were able to experience the quiet night because of his lateness. Aika got excited and went to stand on top of a well. Al remarked that it's dangerous but she ignored it and fell into the well. Al tried to help her up but fell into the well as well. Al tried to climb up the well but it vain. They tried other methods but failed. Suddenly Mmaa sachou appeared and Aika asked it to call Alice over. Maa didnt understand and jump into the well. Aika threw her up but it jumped down again and again. Later Maa sachou was thrown up and went away.

Aika commented that it turned out a strange way to moon-gazing . Aika asked why the moon rotated around Neo-venezia. Al then explained the gravitational theory on the rotation. Aika didnt understand but she was shocked that Al placed his back against Aika's back. But Al spoilt the mood with further explaination and tasteless joke. Aika told him to stop. Al then made a comment that it was dark in the well. Aika remarked that gnome shouldnt be afraid of darkness . Al tried to explain but Aika teased and cuddled him. Al then saw the other moon that's 1.8 smaller in size. The moon light beamed into the well as Al explained on the smaller moon. Aika commented that the moons were near each other and realized that Al and her were also near to each other. Aika couldnt control her emotion and cried. Aika answered it was too near. Al explained that it's not long that the moon was affected by Neo Venezia but also the other way round. Aika approached Al with emotion but her stomach growl destroyed the mood. Suddenly, they heard Akari asking if they were fine.

Aika later asked when did they arrive at the well. Akari replied that it was when Aika scremed it's screwed. Alice asked what was it about. Aika lied about the gravitational force. Al went and took Aika's hand saying it's the gravitational force.

Next week: Navigation 57 + Special Navigation of Volume 12.

Tsubasa 184: Syaoran, Yui, Kurogane and Mokona arrived at Clow country. They received hospitality from a apple seller boy and his mother. The next morning, they found the people motionless and everything recurred again.

Cross Game 116: Azuma felt bad for making Aoba hospitalized. Azuma visited her everyday. Akane was pestered by a bully but Akaishi scared him away.

Just realized a few days ago that Bookcafe hasn't ship my order yet. They told me that Prince of Tennis 28 is not available ant they are awaiting for reprints. However, they waited a week and asked me about it. I told them to wait another week, else replace with Prince of Tennis 24 and ship them. Megahouse Punit Collection Akari & Alice

Collected my Megahouse Punit Aria Collection series 1 featuring Akari and Alice. Pre-ordered them for early-bird price of 5415 yen each. Hobby Search has shipped the items through EMS and the shipping cost 2400 yen. I realized that the figures are not as heavy as I thought, probably due to the fact that the clothes are fabrics.

The figure looks more like a barbie doll to me but it's a valuable collection for Aria fans. The two things that I was disappointed with were the uniform and the cap. I can hardly fit the cap onto the head, it's too small, thus I can only place on top instead of fit. The uniform made of clothes is a brilliant idea but some accessories like the ribbon are not ideal enough.

Episode 9: 第09話「そのオレンジの風につつまれて…」

Alice graduated from her high school. Her juniors approached her and congratulated her. They wanted to have her uniform's second button as remembrance. The rest of the students saw it and also requested since they were her fans as well. She ended up without even one button. Aika and Akari were waiting for her outside school and congratulated her.

While walking home, Alice walked backwards saying that this is her high school's last challenge. Aika and Akari were on the gondola streaming down the aisle. They met Atena and Alice turned to see her. Aika commented that Alice failed her challenge but Alice said it's absolutely fine since time stopped when Atena was around.

Later, they went for the usual practice together. Alice appeared very energetic. Aika and Akari were surprised. Alice told them that she would practise hard to make up for her time in school. Alice said that practice a very happy thing. In the evening, back at Orange company, Atena remarked that Alice's full of motivation after graduating from high school. Alice agreed and felt that everything's smooth for her since then. Alice was playing with Maa sachou with a banana. Atena had a thought and asked Alice to got for a picnic the next day. Atena promised that this time for sure.

The next day, Alice prepared to set off while Atena made a call. Atena then told Alice that she would role-play as her guest today and Alice will be the undine. Alice consented and treated Atena as her guest. Alice then offered her hand to Atena, helping her to the gondola. Atena was surprised with Alice's smile and action. Atena complimented Alice's smile but Alice responded that this was their first time meeting since Atena's her guest now. Alice then told her guest that she practised everyday with her seniors who have best smiles. During the tour, Alice also gave a detailed tour of renowned places of interest. Atena complimented her knowledge and Alice attributed it to the strict practice which she had with her seniors. Alice then asked if Atena has somewhere to go and Atena complied.

Alice and Atena arrived at the special route. A large boat passed by the narrow route and created a strong wave. Alice manoeuvred her gondola and prevent collision to the side wall. Alice responded with a smile when the guest on the boat waved. They later stopped and have picnic on the gondola. They resumed their tour later and reached the water elevator near sunset. The himeya undine that came down encouraged Alice with Ganbade. Alice was bit surprised. Atena then told Alice to have a rest while waiting for the water elevator to bring them to the top. Atena complimented Alice for her superb skills. Alice thanked her and responded that her skills and knowledge were attributed to her practice with Akari and Aika. However, Alice added that she had soft voice and singing was not her highlight. Often, the more she thought on singing, her mind became blank. Atena remarked that if one felt painful of her vocal, then that feeling would be transfered to the listener as well. She added that while vocal skill was important, it was the sincerity that matter most. Atena told Alice that if Alice didnt like her own singing, then who else would like it. They then reached the top route and Atena asked her to continue the tour.

It was sunset and Alice was awed with the scenery. Atena then told Alice that before Aqua has gotten her name, the planet was orange in colour. Because of this, when it was sunset, the residents on Aqua would feel the happiness and nostalgia. Later, they continue the tour and reached the place with wind turbines. Alice saw Aika and Akari as well as the elevator operator, Orange Company directors and personnel from Gondola association standing there. They stopped by the spot and Atena thanked Alice for her tour. Atena then requested Alice to end wih a song. Alice put down her oar and asked her guest, Atena if she had heard of the three water fairies. Alice smiled and told her that she was the disciple of the famous undine known as Seilane. Alice then began her singing with smiles and emotions. Akari clapped in tears and everyone else joined clapping. Alice then told Atena that though vocal was not her strength but she liked singing most since she was small. She added that she remembered it after hearing Atena's words. Alice then bowed and thanked Atena.

Atena then went in front of Alice and reached for Alice's left saying that the company has been waiting for the day when Alice graduated from school. Atena removed Alice's left glove as she praised Alice's skill, hospitality and vocal. Before Alice could finish her realization as a single undine, Atena reached for Alice's right hand. Atena said that the gondola association has anticipated high regard and expectation on Alice. In respond to Alice's excellence, the association has made a decision that they havent done before. Atena then remove Alice's right glove and congratulated Alice. Alice was then given her Prima undine appellation as the Orange Princess. Alice, Akari and Aika were shocked. Alice was moved to tears and went to hug Atena. Akari and Aika then went to hug and congratulate Alice while Maa sachou went to bite Aria sachou. Alice repeated thanking them while crying.

Next week: Akari and Aika went to peek on Alice who is now a prima. Next week will be on Navigation 45 of volume 9 which shows Aika and Al in the well.

P/S: I like how they changed last week's Atena failure to keep the picnic promise and link it to the picnic this week. So Atena's appellation is officially Seilane. The scene where Alice sings is very well animated with recaps of her past. I was nearly touched to tears on the 2nd glove removal scene. Wow, navigation 55 jumped back to Navigation 45. I predict that Navigation 45 will be used as prelude to Aika's promotion. In addition, Aria The Origination will be a 13 episode season.

In the morning, Mr. Postman arrived at Aria Company and Akari asked if he was Mr. Anno Namihira (庵野波平) who made a reservation. Mr. Postman replied yes and Akari learnt to know his real name. During the tour, Akari asked if Anno didnt have to distribute the letters. Anno replied that his leg wasn't what it used to be so he stayed at the post office and worked on the administration. Anno then asked how's Akari and whether she has regained her composure. Akari asked if Anno was worried for her and made the reseravtion. Akari thanked Anno and he was speechless. Akari admitted that things have been different with the time when Alicia was around but the number of reservation has gradually increased. She aadded that she went to the town to search for customer when she was free and she consider herself quite lucky at that. However, Akari admitted that she was lying if she said she wasn't feeling lonely. Anno remarked that summer would end soon. He complimented Akari and said that Akari was still an ace in creating wonderful things in daily normal lifesyle. Anno told Akari that she would be fine and remarked that Akari was an expert in creating happiness. There wont be any unhappy customer if they were with someone like Akari. Anno added that he had said so when he first met her that Akari would be an outstanding undine. Akari blushed and thanked Anno.

The next morning, Akari prepared for the day and she sensed someone. She went to the living room and saw Alicia sitting there. Aika and Alice ran down the stairs. Akira and Atena greeted Alicia. Akari then realized that it was the shadow or the nostalgia of the happy moments at Aria company. It was her job to open the shutter first thing in the morning. She knew that once she opened the door, the nostagic shadows will disappear with the air. She hesistated but then remembered that it's not "It was happy at that time" but "It was also happy at that time". She rememebred what Atena and Alicia had said that the happiness at the present is felt at that moment. Thus, it was important to cherish the present. Akari saw Aria sachou and happily greeted it. Then she prepared for the day. Akari emailed her penpal and told her friend that it was getting busier and she had less time for emails. She then updated her penpal with an update of her friends.

Woody sent eggs to Akari every morning before he left for work. He has started rearing chicken at his home. Everday he soared the air with happiness.

Aika started her committment at the new branch and was busy everyday. She started to have more poise but she was still a cry-baby when they met together. Al has been promoted and seemed to grow taller. His relationship with Aika still good as before.

Akatsuki was also promoted. Sometime, he appeared at Aria company for no reason. Unawared, Akari was scared by his out-of-the-blue appearance. She felt that that's how Akatsuki showed his concern on Akari.

Alice became the legend who has promotion to Prima from Pair. She received a lot of attention in the undine industry. Alice has set "Let's have a holiday together" as her rule. However, due to the busy schedule of all three undines, it was pretty impossible.

Atena had her firt debut in the opera. It affected her undine job slightly and Alice was angry. However, on the day of the debut, Alice was touched to tears when she watched Atena's performacance.

Akira became the No.1 undine in Aqua. Aika remarked her as a threat but everyone knew Aika was very happy deep down in her heart.

Alicia worked for the gondola association and was active in all variety of events. Recently, she saw Grandma and Alicia as special lectures in a gathering. Akari felt proud to be the junior of two great people. Sometimes, Alicia and Grandma went to Aria company and visited Akari. Alicia still bestowed Akari with her unchanged beautiful smile.

Akari told her penpal that she lived a happy life even though many things were different from before. She then sent the email and said that she believed she would meet the penpal one day. Akari's penpal was revealed to be Cait Sith.

Aqua 0076, 16th month, the 20th, Akari resumed emailing Cait Sith and said something happy has happened. Aria sachou ran down the stairs followed by a girl in Aria Company uniform. Ai, in the uniform, greeted Akari. Starting then, Aria company has two employees. Ai asked of her uniform and Akari complimented it fit her nicely. Akari and Ai enjoyed the breakfast together. Akari then looked at Ai just like the time Alicia looked at her on the 2nd day morning. Ai asked Akari and Akari replied that it just that she felt slightly happy. The series ended with a pair of oars numbered 2 and 4, and two pairs of boots.

P/S: After 6-7 years of Aqua and Aria, it finally ended. I'm going to miss it very much. I was right that Ai joined Aria company ^^.

Q: The last navigation has ended. How do you feel now?
A: Thanks. I feels smooth sense of achievement.

Q: The finale has left people with deep impression, when did you first thought of the finale?
A: I have thought of the scene ever since Aqua and then to Aria. It is the chapter which I wanted to draw most.

Q: Since featuring in Blade 6 years ago, this is Amano sensei's longest serialization. Is there any hardship throughout the years?
A: It was surprising that there wasn't any complication in the content. There are contents for each week and never lack of resources. The drawing is hard and it tortured me each month (smile). And since the animation of Aria, beside the normal serialization routine, additional drawing has also increased. The last 3 years, the slow speed in drawing was hell-like.

Q: With a popular animation with 3 seasons and one OVA, are there any changes with your surrounding and lfesytple before and after the animation?
A: There's no changes to the feelings, peacefully draw the series as before. However, thanks to the animation, I gained more optimistic perspective in creating Aria. I learnt a lot and felt that the scope expanded as well.

Q: After the production of the animation, a diversity of merchandises was produced as well. Which gives you the most impession?
A: Of course it's the Aria sachou merchadises.

Q: Which chapter in Aria and Aqua gives the most impression?
A: It should be the last 2 chapters which I dedicated all my effort into.

Q: Which of the episode in the animation gives you the most impression?
A: I have only watch half od season III when I have this interview. Considering just the first two seasons, Season I Episode 11 (On Those Orange Days) leaves me with the most impression.

Q: Fans have given tremendous support for a sequel. Is that a possibility?
A: Er, how to say, I'm not sure at the moment.

Q: From now on, it's your 6 years long awaiting holiday. What's your plan?
A: I'm considering a holiday. Recharge myself with a relaxed lifestyle. However, half of the resting period will be taken by the preparation of a new series.

Q: Have you thought of the scope for the next series?
A: Sort of...A little bit.

Q: Lastly, any message for the readers?
A: Since the serialization of Aqua and continuation of 7 years, It has been an long experience that I haven't had before, It was because of the reader's support that I can finish the series successfully. I would like to express my gratitude to them.

Tsubasa 183: I wish I didnt complain on too much conversation before. Now we have more than 5 pages without any conversation. Yuko sent Syaoran, Yui, Kurogane and Mokona to Clow country. Not much drama, except Yuko got intercepted and Yuko wont be able to interrupt as well. The gang would be on their own. Suspense! (P/S: Excellent cover art on Syaoran & Sakura and C.Syaron & C. Sakura)
Hatsukoi Limited 21: Kei reprimanded Koyoi and Ayumi for their selfishness. Nao met the sempai who painted her favourite drawing that was hung in the art room. They teamed up for a painting. Sogabe saw that.
Prince of Tennis 379: That's it?? The Finale???? Ryoma won by 6-4. Seigaku gained the championship. Tetsuka smiled and was recorded by Inui. Kaidoh became the new captain. Ryoma went to US and helped a tennis kid who was being bullied. (Wish there's more aftermath for those 3rd years who graduated.)
Cross Game 115: Aoba was hurt by Azuma's hit accidentally.

Episode 8: 第08話「その大切な人の記憶に…」

Alice and Athena's fake amnesia, Navigation 37 of V8.

Alice was anticipating for her day out with Atena and she went to buy foods for her sandwiches. She also worked out a route for the trip. She then went for a bath while Atena came back. By the time Alice went back to her room, Atena has slept. Maa sachou also had a bunch of banana for the next day. Alice placed a note beside Atena's bed to remind her of the trip. The next morning, Alice was awaken by Atena's leaving for her work. She was surprised that Atena has left for work. Alice waited for Atena in her room while Maa sachou was having the bananas. Alice was sad that Atena had forgotten about their dayout. Suddenly, Atena rushed back with the note in her hand. She apologized and said that she had a busy day. She tried to make up with Alice but Alice told her that it's not necessary. Alice accidentally bursted and grabbed the note, causing it to tore and drop on the floor. Alice then left for the door and Atena tried to catch her. However, Atena stepped on the banana skin that Maa sachou threw on the ground and fell down flat. Soon, Akari received a call from Alice telling her something very very very serious SOS had happened.

Alicia and Akari went to Orange Planet and realized that Atena had lost her memory.Alice told them of the incident and that Atena had amnesia. Aria sachou was lying on the floor with its stomach upwards. Atena played with Aria sachou's stomach and mentioned its name. Akari then asked whether Atena remembered Aria sachou and she replied yes. Alice then asked if Atena remembered her but Atena replied she couldnt recognize Alice. Alicia then looked at Atena, smiled and said that she would come back later.

Akari, Alice and Atena went to a cafe and Alice ordered several ice-cream desert. Atena managed to picked up her favourite desert and this made Akari and Alice happy. Atena then called Maa sachou and fed it with the biscuit. Akari and Alice realized that Atena now remembered Maa sachou. However, she still couldn't remember Alice. Alice decided to bring Atena back to orange planet and asked her to pick out her oar. She picked the correct one and mentioned Akari's name. However, she still couldn't remember Alice and this made Alice very sad.

Akari mentioned that Alicia should be back soon and they all went to Aria company. Alice was getting sadder as Atena couldnt remember Alice. Atena approached Alice and asked her how she felt towards Atena. Alice replied that Atena was clumsy and can be a bother sometimes. Atena then asked if Alice hate her. Alice replied no and Atena asked if Alice liked her.Alice replied that it should be the later and told Atena how she really felt. Alice couldnt hold herself and cried. Alicia came back and told Atena that it's time to end her acting. Atena apologized to Alice and told her that she didnt have amnesia. Atena explained that what she had done before might have bothered Alice so she wanted to know Alice's true feeling on her. Alice told Atena that Atena should have just asked her directly if she wanted to know. She added that what she just did made her hate Atena very very very much (Literally, if you know what it meant). Atena and Alice then went back. Akari then asked Alicia if she had know from the beginning. Alicia replied yes and asked if Akari was surprised with Atena. Akari agreed and commented that even the three fairies had insecurity at times. Alicia replied that they were also normal people and they also anxious to know how their loved ones felt towards them. Alicia added that it was even so if it concerned the juniors that they loved. Akari then asked if Alicia would feel insecure as well because of her. Alicia blushed and answered that she wont tell her.

Note: This season is now 90% Finale because of the sneak preview next week. Next week episode is about Navigation 55. The chapter which we'll see the Orange Princess.

P/S: I liked how they animate this episode. The manga had Atena accidentally torn Maa sachou's cap instead of forgetting an appointment with Alice. I find breaking a promise has a lot more drama compared to clumsiness. The scene where Alice bursted and cried is very well animated. For these, I applaud the episode. It was abit disappointing that they didnt show the scene where Atena hold her oar numbered 36 with its meaning. I liked the last scene most where Alicia blushed when Akari asked her the question. And of course, what we'll lose if there wasnt any chibi moments. Kawaii!

Hatsukoi Limited 20: The chocolate that the bomberman has swapped contained a bomb. Ayumi asked Misao to ride the bicycle and took her to the bank where Yamato would be. Koyoi dragged Bessho to the water bank. Yamamoto was about to give chocolate to Arihara but Ayumi made it in time and threw the chocolate in mid-air. The bomb in chocolate box exploded. Yamamoto then asked Arihara to be friend first.
Prince of Tennis 378: Nanjirou arrived at the court and told everyone that there was no Teni Muhō No Kiwami. He explained that it was simply the feeling of enjoyment when one first play tennis. He added that people lost the feeling when the became absorbed in the winning the game. Ryoma invoked Samurai Drive and the ball split into two halves. Desperately, Yukion returned both halves.

Pastel V18
Pastel 93: Appearance of 春野萌, younger sister of Haruno Rei 春野麗. Yuu got jealous and thought Mugi was having an affair. Turned out 萌 was seeking advice from Mugi as she used Yuu as model for her novel.
Pastel 94: Mugi and Yuu went to Tokyo for Sayuri and Takumi's wedding. Takumi lost their wedding ring and Sayuri wanted to break off the wedding. Takumi showed his sincerity and committment and wedding proceeded.
Pastel 95: Yuu wanted to go to same university as Mugi but Mugi disapproved. She went to see Aoi and Tetsu. Yuu later realized Mugi's real intention and concern.
Pastel 96: Yuji wanted to court Yuu and have been interrupting Yuu and Mugi. Out of desperation, Mugi leaked their secrets that they were dating. Mugi and Yuu kissed at playground and someone saw it. The following day, they were called to staff room and the counsellor asked they lived together and if they were dating.

Episode 7: 第７話「そのゆるやかな時の中に…」

Special Navigation "Blue Gem" in Volume 9 featuring the legendary undine Grandma Akino and ARIA sachou

Akari, Alicia and Aria went to visit Alicia's sempai, Anna at Neo Burano. They saw buildings and things that were different from their vicinity. They came across beautiful lace-knitting and a wedding dress. Alicia commented that her sempai had worn a wedding dress like that in the past. Akari asked Alicia about her sempai and Alicia replied that Anna sempai was even more popular than her. Akari praised and felt excited to meet her.

They reached Anna's house but the gate was locked and no one answered. They then saw a little boy opposite an isle. The boy ran away and Akari gave a chase. The boy then hid behind his mum. The mum saw Akari and recognized the undine uniform. Alicia approached and greeted her sempai, Anna. Akari introduced herself and Anna introduced her son, Ahito.

They sat down and have some donut and tea. Alicia reminded Anna of her departure from Aria company. Anna had to leave Aria company to pursue her marriage and she was having a baby back then. She had hard time settling in Neo Burano at first but she later learnt knitting. This helped her to make acquitance with the residents there. Anna showed Alicia and Akari her craftworks. The door bell rang and Anna went to open the door. She was surprised to find Grandma outside. Alicia had asked Grandma Akino to join them. Anna's husband, Albert had also reached home with a fresh seafoods. Everyone had a wonderful dinner together.

After dinner, Albert, Ahito and Aria sachou had a sleep as they had bit of sports before dinner and were tired. Grandma Akino, Anna, Akari and Alicia were having tea and cakes. They were chatting and reminisced Aria company during their times. Grandma then shared her story on the establishment of Aria company.

Back in her days, Akino was the star of Himeya. All undines envied and admired her. However, she was always busy and had reserveations all day long. One day, she found Aria sachou staring out to the sea. She was at first curious but day after day she found Aria sachou there. One day, while having her break, she stopped by the place and talked to Aria sachou. Aria sachou didnt respond and kept staring at the sea. She then went by its side and confided in Aria sachou. She started to realize that she didnt have much time for herself due to her busy schedule. She then asked Aria sachou the reason it kept sitting there. Aria sachou looked at her and turned back staring at the sea. At night, it was raining heavily and Akino saw Aria sachou sitting still in the rain. She took her umbrella and went to Aria sachou. She tried to move Aria sachou but it remained there. Emotions stirred up in Akino. She then spent the night with Aria sachou in the rain with their raincoats and umbrella. The sun rose and the rain stopped. Akino felt refreshed and decided to make a change in her life. Soon, she established Aria company at the spot where Aria sachou had been at.

Grandma Akino, Alicia and Anna turned towards Akari. Akari was told that one day Akari would be handling Aria company and she would experience different things. Alicia told Akari to do her best. Anna gave her a wink and Grandma Akino gave her a smile. With that Akari promised them that she would do her best for Aria company.

Next week is on Alice and Athena's fake amnesia, Navigation 37 of V8.

P/S: Ooo.. we get to see Anna, Alicia's sempai who wasn't in the manga. The young Akino is different from the one drawn in the manga but she sure is captivating. Next week will be on Athena and Alice, not exactly a favourite chapter for me.

AMG First End Novel

Received my AMG Novel First End English eidtion this morning. The novel is written by Yumi Tohma, the seiyuu or vocal for Urd in AMG. Front cover illustration by Fujishima and insert illustrations by Matsubara. The english edition is published by Dark House. I wont be able to scan them but all picture scans are available at Vision of Goddess.

Note: While the novel offers an "ending", it doesn't represent the main stream storyline of the AMG series. Thus, it's like a fan-fiction but with more recognition from the author. Fujishima has yet revealed whether he had an ending in mind, unlike Aoyama who had an ending ready for Detective Conan finale.

Hatsukoi Limited 19: Koyoi and Ayumi planned to have Yamamoto and Arihara together so that she wont touch Bessho and Zaitsu. Ayumi and Koyoi later confronted Yamamoto and Yamamoto told them that she wont be giving any chocolate. She added that she couldn't find the reason for liking. Ayumi rebuked that it's love when she felt the pulpitation of her heart. On Valentine's day, the man with the motorbike helmet told Ayumi that he has Yamamoto's chocolate.
Prince of Tennis 377: The last door has been opened. Ryoma chased the game and it's now 4-4.

Update: Received my AMG Novel this morning, 18th Feb. It comprises A362 pages and about 26.5mm thick.

Episode 6:第６話「その課外授業に…」

Athena and Alice went to the market for some groceries. They met Akari, Alicia and ARIA sachou on the way. ARIA sachou was terrified of Maa sachou. Athena and Alice went to have icre-cream. Athena saw someone eating pizza and didnt realize her scoops of ice-cream dropped onto the ground. Athena was in tears but Alice bought a pizza slice for her. Athena ate it and was rejoiced but it ended on the ground again later.

The episode is based on Navigation 50. The young undines were having their usual practices and it was Akari's turn. ARIA sachou helped Akari with her training, helping her in muscle training and balancing. Aika scolded Akari for playing and squeezed her face. Alice asked of the way which Alicia would reprimand her. Akari replied that she had never been scolded by Alicia. Aika praised Alicia for her perfectness while Alice wondered if Alicia had never got frustrated with Akari's mistakes.

Alice went to ARIA company to spy on Alicia and Akari. First time, she was discovered by ARIA sachou and acted she was cleaning the floor. Second time, during breakfast time, Akari accidently dropped egg shells into the pan. Aika saw Alice and wondered what's Alice was doing there. In the evening, ARIA sachou showed its strength and agility but ended up falling into the sea. It later got bitten by Maa sachou that was accompanying Alice and Alice was discovered by them. At night, Akari broke Alicia's favourite's mug and she got panic. However, Alicia didnt scold Akari, instead she asked if everyone was not hurt. Suddenly Aria sachou screamed and pointed at the gondola that was drifting away. Alicia went to collect the gondola and later found out that it was due to the rope being cut by something sharp. Again, Alicia didnt scold Akari. Aika remarked if it was Akira, she would say that Aika didnt tight the rope accordingly. Alice on the other hand, was getting more curious with Alicia

One day after school, Alice went for ice-cream and she realized Alicia was sitting opposite of her. Alice got nervous and wondered if Alicia had realized her noticing Alicia for the past few days. Alicia then told her that it was the first time that both of them were alone. Alice agreed but was still nervous. Alicia then asked if Alice had something to ask her. Alice was shocked. However, she then asked why didnt Alice get angry or scold Akari when Akari made a mistake. Alicia was surprised but she smiled back, taking out a sweet. She asked Aria sachou to give the sweet to the little girl opposite of them at a distance. Aria sachou took several short routes to reach the girl. It gave the sweet to the girl eventually and the girl was very happy. Aria sachou went back to Alicia and Alicia praised it. She then asked Aria sachou to pass another sweet to a boy. Aria sachou did a better job and took less time. Alice was puzzled. Alicia and Alice went to the bridge and Alice asked about Aria sachou's action. Alicia told her that if she scolded or reprimanded Aria sachou then it would grow afraid and less willing to try again. Alicia continued that she wouldn't tell Aria sachou "not there, not there" rather "here, here". This was her preferred method. Alice then asked how she would respond if her student kept making mistakes. Alicia replied that she would continue to learn and reflected on it. Alice was puzzled but Alicia told Alice that she was also imperfect. She added there were times where she, as a senior, couldn't do a good job in guiding the juniors. She reflected and realized that teaching and learning were the same. Thus, Alicia would rather choose to be one with Akari and go through thick and thin with her. Akari and Aika then appeared and called out to Alicia and Alice. Aria sachou ran to Akari leaving Alice and Alicia behind. Alicia told Alice to keep their conversation a secret. Alice asked about it and Alicia replied that it was embarassing. Alice remarked that she didnt have to feel that way since Akari would have similar thoughts as Alicia. Alicia's responded and it made Alice felt embarassed as well.

P/S: I prefer the bridge scene in the manga compared to the one in anime. Next week will be on Special Navigation "Blue Gem" in Volume 9 featuring the legendary undine Grandma Akino and ARIA sachou.

Hatsukoi Limited 18: Yamamoto bought the valentine's chocolate. On Valentine's eve morning she met Mamoru and tied a ribbon on him with his scarf. Ayumi saw it. A man with motorbike helmet bumped Yamamoto deliberately and swapped her chocolate. Koyoi and Ayumi talked about Yamamoto at school. After school, Yamamoto went to her class and saw the depressed Bessho sitting there. However, she was scared off by the school staff. Yamamoto ran away whispering sorry to Bessho in her heart. So who's the one that Yamamoto had in mind. Arihara or was it Bessho???

Cross Game 113: As usual, Azuma received a lot of chocolates. Koh asked if there wasn't any that he's interested. Azuma replied the only possible target would be Aoba. On the school rooftop, Aoba asked how much chocolate did Ko received. She wanted to see how many but the snatch caused the bag to drop onto a lorry. Aoba asked how many and Ko replied 4. He told her that he would be in trouble if people found out about it. Aoba went to the shop and bought 4 chocolates. Akane passed by and met Ko who was waiting outside. Aoba gave Ko the chocolates but Ko explained to Akane. Ko found 5 boxes inside the bag but Aoba said that's for Azuma (Actually Aoba intended for Ko, stupid for Ko to ask). Akane asked if it was fine to give chocolate to boys from other school and Ko said yes. She said she would give one to him but in return she wanted to see Wakaba's photo.
Prince of Tennis 376: Ryoma vs Yukino 0-4. Ryoma lost his 5 senses. All hope is lost. Ryoma remembered the happiness of tennis. The awaken of the final door.

My brother finished his MG Destiny Extreme Burst but he accidentally snap a fragile part of the wing. It was painful but lucky that a superglue can fix it. I have order 3 fine tip panel marker and 1 soft tip marker from HLJ but there'a a backordered on the fine tip marker. I wrote to HLJ asking for the status, if there's only 2, I'll settle for 2 or even 1, just make it quick. Hope they will ship them next week. Amazon has shipped my AMG Novel by Yumi Tohma. Hope to received it this week.

Episode 5:第５話「そのおもいでのクローバーは…」

It's summer and the young undines were having their usual practices. Aika asked Akari about her recent traghetto experience and Akari told them the motivation she has gained. Alice's skill has improved and she was able to "park" the gondola sideway to the side.

The girls went to the market place. Aika wanted to ask something and she approached a girl at a fruit stall. The girl greeted Aika and told her that the fruits were nice. Before Aika could continue, they heard Atena's singing voice. Atena was taking some tourist on her gondola tour. All the people at the market place and vicinity listened and enjoyed the heavenly voice. Aika and the fruit stall girl praised her simultanesouly. Alice was a bit embarassed and admitted that Atena's voice was indeed superb.

Suddenly, a girl called out for her hat which was blown away by the wind. They looked at the direction of the hat and saw Alicia who were with tourist on her gondola. The hat passed by above Alicia but she began to manoeuvre elegantly and reverse her rowing. She then caught the hat and all those around applauded for her skill. Alicia handed back the hat to the young girl and the young girl thanked her. Aika and the fruit stall girl compliment Alicia simultaneously again.

Akari, Aika and Alice went to have lunch. Aika wondered when they could become a Prima undine. Alice then complimented Alicia and Atena's skills and commented that they were blessed with born-talents. Aika got a bit depressed. Later, they continued with their practice. Alice manoeuvred around narrow isle skillfully. Akari was greeted by a lot of people during her practice and Alice made a remark on her interpersonal relationship. Akari made a heartful comment and Aika was about to attack with her usual remark but she refrained soon after. She then got depressed and Akari and Alice wondered what had happened.

Aika went back to Himeya and she found a pile of belongings of Akira. Akira was cleaning her room. Aika had a temperament but Akira asked her to help her. Akira grabbed onto Aika and made fun of her. Aika then had no choice and helped.

Aika found a photo album of Akari and had a look at the photos. She saw Alicia, Akira and Atena when they were young. She was surprised to notice that Akira was a single undine while Alicia and Atena had become Prima undines. Akira approached Aika and saw the photo. She commented that she was the last to become Prima undine among the three. She cheerfully remarked that she didn't have Atena's voice nor Alicia's talent so it's natural that she would be the last. Aika bursted out asking why she could reacted so cheerfully as she thought it would be emotionally painful for Akira.

Akira confirms that she was the last one to become a prima. Aika emotionally wondered how Akira can laugh about this, as she believes that it would have been painful and hard to deal with. Akira states that she did not have any talents like Alice or Athena, so it was a given that something like that would happen. Aika wonders if it wasn’t painful, but Akira confirms to her that it was. Aika wonders how Akira can be so strong, so Akira decides to tell Aika a story. Aika was very depressed and Akira noticed that.

Akira told Aika about the day that Atena was promoted to Prima undine. Akira commented that she didnt expect Atena to obtain Prima status before her. She congratulated Atena and Atena was very happy. Alicia remarked that Akira would also be Prima undine soon. Akira optimistically agreed. However, she felt a bit depressed when she got home. On one bright day, she went for a walk and she started to feel lonely as Alicia and Atena had their own Prima duties. She wandered around and got more depressed. She then have a rest by a rectangle brick pit with a bed of clovers inside. Behind her were roses surrounding the fence. She looked at the clovers and tried to find the lucky 4-leaves clover but she couldnt find one. She continued to search and this made her more depressed and she wondered if Prima is not her destiny. She nearly broke down and suddenly, Aika appeared in front of her.

The young Aika saw what Akira was doing and she had a look at the patch of clovers. She told Akira to give up since there wasn't any to it. Akira got a hit as though it was telling her to give up if she didnt have what it takes to be a Prima undine. She grabbed into her shorts and was emotionally unstable. The young Aika went to the rose beds and plucked a rose petal. Aika commented that if there was any, all she needed to do was to create it. Aika put a clover on the surface and placed a rose petal beside it. Aika added that the rose petal represented Akira's heart. This striked Akira and she received the utmost consolation and motivation. She then strived hard and achieved the Prima status.

After hearing that, Aika replied that it was so touching. Akira then realized Aika had no recollection of the incident. Akira gave the "pressed rose & clover petal bookmark" to Aika. Aika asked if it was fne to give her something so precious. Akira replied that Aika must attain Prima status. Aika stood up and promised that she would achieve it. Aika had a thought and asked if Akira derived her appellation Crimson Roses from the rose petal. Akira turned around and smiled to Aika. Aika was motivated and the next day she returned to her usual self. She later made several touching remarks and ended scolding herself for saying embarassing stuffs.

P/S: This episode is excellent, it captured all the flows and emotions very well. Next week will be on Navigation 50, focusing on Alice and Alicia, how Alicia could maintain her temperament even when Akari made a mistake. This season is tremendous!!!

Hatsukoi Limited 17: Yamamoto and Bessho having a chat in the classroom. Ayumi and Koyoi tried to make hand-made chcolate for Mamoru and Bessho respectively. Later Yamamoto passed by a chocolate shop and looked at the chocolate for Valentine's Day. Next week should be Valentine's chapter???
Tsubasa 181: Syaoran, Kuro and Yui were surprised to learn that the price for their travel has been paid by Watanuki. Watanuki has sacrificed his memory and parents name for their sake. Fei Wong is in Clow Country. Both Yuuko and Fei were aware of each other's location. Kyle asked Fei about Sakura's real body and Fei said it disintegrated after the cloning. Mokona was crying for the lost of Sakura. (Darn.. So Sakura soul need C.Sakura's body then.. no wonder Yuuko had asked which Sakura. Both are important now! ).
Cross Game 112: Yuhei Azuma asked Aoba if she has ever given anyone Valentine's chocolate. Aoba said she never. Aoba mentioned that Yuhei received a lot of from last year and asked if there wasnt any that he's interested. Yuhei replied that he would consider if she was someone like Aoba. Did Yuhei confess to Aoba suddenly???
Prince of Tennis 375: Ryoma lost his senses as time prolonged. He even lost his hearing by the end of chapter. What's Yukino doing to him???

Navigation 59 未来 sure is good...

After Alicia congratulated Akari for passing the Prima examination, she told Akari about her retirement and wedding. Later, the news spread and Aika and Alice came to ARIA company. They asked Akari if Alicia was going to retire because of marriage. Akari replied yes and Akatsuki called to asked about that as well. Akari told Aika and Alice that the Gondola association has long offered Alicia a position. They need an experienced undine for the job to make the undine foundation more solid and prosper. However, no matter how great was Alicia, it was impossible to take on two role at the same time. Thus retiring as undine for marrige was something she had long decided. Aika and Alice asked Akari if she was ok emotionally.Akari put on smiles and said she would be fine.

For the next few days, they were busy but both kept their smiles to each other. One day, Akari couldnt understand the number in a document but she couldnt find Alicia. Alicia was out at the compound thanking her supporters for the farewell bouquet. Alicia went back ARIA company and found Akari in tears. Akari then couldnt hold herself and cried. Alicia went over and hugged her. Alicia then told Akari that she has the capability of a Prima Undine long time ago. But Alicia felt that she could continue as her mentor as long as Akari's still a Single. Alicia has also consulted grandma and has several time wanted to hold the examination. However, she would delayed again and again so that she could stay longer with Akari. She was fraid to lose the wonderful moment with Akari. Alicia apologized to Akari. Akari then told Alicia that she understood that all the things that had happened were blissful.
But she felt insecure and scared. She continued that it could be somewhere in her heart that wanted to everything to stay the same and that's why she wanted everything to stop there. However, she said that because she didnt stop and came to Aqua and met Alicia and the other so this time she would also continue to move forward in ehr life. She then told Alicia that when Alicia decided to retire as undine, Alicia has decided to seek a better future as well. Thus Akari would use her smile to send her to the turning point and she would continue to put on her smile until the moment arrived. Alicia smiled back and thanked her.

P/S: Ever since V4, I had thought and wished to see Alicia getting married. It wasn't really a speculation but I had hope for... and I getting it. Though I didnt expect that Alicia had to retire that soon. Luckily Akari has ARIA sachou at least.
Anyway.. the last navigation chapter Navigation 60 are bound to be precious. I'm speculating Ai chan will join ARIA company. ^^

MG ZGMF X42S Gundam Destiny Extreme Blast

I never knew that I would have this but thanks to my brother, we both have the awesome MG ZGMF X42S Gundam Destiny Extreme Blast.

My brother was awed by the wing effects and he decided to get it and one for me as well. I didnt realize that a lot of the parts were silver colour. My brother had known it as he read the comparison on Dalong. So it's the same as Strike Freedom Full Burst, only that in Destiny you get silver (Chrome) instead of gold.

The chrome plating parts. Similiar concept to the Strike Freedom Full Burst golden parts. Alternatively, one can get (should get in fact) a can of silver/chrome spray for these parts.

The wings of light. Probably the main and sole reason of getting the Exterme Blast edition. it's acutally pink colour, photo turn out red. :P

The 1/20 bonus figures of Shin Asuka and Kira Yamato. It's made of soft plastic. Nice to look but still, no colour. :P

P/S: There are extra weapons for the Extreme Blast version such as the palm energy blast and boomerang effects. There are also gold colour decals.
